Dear Friends,

As 2025 comes to an end, we’ve been reflecting on just how much possibility this moment holds for A-T research. There’s a real sense of forward motion as we await results from several clinical trials for A-T and push ahead with new potential treatment options as well – some of which weren’t technologically possible even a few years ago.

With your support, we’ve been able to help fuel this progress – advancing gene therapy and gene editing efforts, while also supporting a wide range of other strategies with the potential to improve the lives of children and young adults living with A-T. You can read more about the therapeutic strategies we’re pursuing here.

As we look back at the past year and ahead to the next, it is with immense gratitude for the A-T families who do so much to move this work forward. They participate in research studies, volunteer, raise critical funds and support one another as they go through this journey. We’re also so grateful for the friends, researchers, doctors, supporters, and everyone else in this incredible community fighting for a cure for A-T.

If you’re still considering a year-end gift, please know that your generosity will help make sure that this momentum carries into the year ahead.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful New Year!

All the best,

Jennifer Thornton, Executive Director
