RYLIE’S ANGEL’S GOLF TOURNAMENT – June 6

In just a few days, the 10th annual Rylie’s Angel’s golf tournament is happening in southern California. Rylie is excited to see her dedicated and supportive Angels after a two-year hiatus! The event includes a day of golf with contests, raffles and awards followed by a dinner and auction. This year’s golf is SOLD OUT, but there are still spots for the dinner.

Each year, Rylie’s family reaches new fundraising heights with their creative ideas, loyal supporters and powerful determination to find a cure for Rylie and all kids with A-T.

Million Dollar Bike Ride – June 11

The A-T Children’s Project is happy to announce that we have a team for the 9th annual Million Dollar Bike Ride in Philadelphia later this month. The effort is spearheaded by Team Derek’s Dreams who have been involved in the bike ride since 2016.

By fundraising and participating in the Million Dollar Bike Ride, the team is helping to raise funds for the Orphan Disease Center at the University of Pennsylvania – these funds will be matched and earmarked for A-T research! Thank you Derek’s Dreams!

BE THE HOPE FESTIVAL – June 18

If you are in the mood for shopping and supporting the A-T Children’s Project, visit St. Johns in Pennsylvania for an artisan fair with raffles and an auction to benefit the A-TCP. To learn more about this event, visit our blog post from last month. If you are interested in coming to the festival, no registration is required and we hope to see you there!

This event is in honor of James, a 3-year-old boy with A-T. This is his family’s first event for the A-T Children’s Project and we are so grateful for all their hard work!

A-T WALK FOR A CURE – June 18

This walk takes place annually in Fort Macleod in Alberta, Canada in memory of Randy and in honor of Alex. This event always draws a crowd! It features a 2 or 5 kilometer route as well as a post-walk party. Each walker registers for free, but must raise a minimum of $20 in sponsorships to receive an event t-shirt. Sponsorships don’t have to be from companies, many family members and friends chose to sponsor a walker for the event.

The A-T Walk for a Cure is one of several events that Randy and Alex’s family puts on annually to benefit the A-T Children’s Project – they are unstoppable!
