In just a few days, the 10th annual Rylie’s Angel’s golf tournament is happening in southern California. Rylie is excited to see her dedicated and supportive Angels after a two-year hiatus! The event includes a day of golf with contests, raffles and awards followed by a dinner and auction. This year’s golf is SOLD OUT, but there are still spots for the dinner.

Each year, Rylie’s family reaches new fundraising heights with their creative ideas, loyal supporters and powerful determination to find a cure for Rylie and all kids with A-T.

Million Dollar Bike Ride – June 11

The A-T Children’s Project is happy to announce that we have a team for the 9th annual Million Dollar Bike Ride in Philadelphia later this month. The effort is spearheaded by Team Derek’s Dreams who have been involved in the bike ride since 2016.

By fundraising and participating in the Million Dollar Bike Ride, the team is helping to raise funds for the Orphan Disease Center at the University of Pennsylvania – these funds will be matched and earmarked for A-T research! Thank you Derek’s Dreams!

If you are in the mood for shopping and supporting the A-T Children’s Project, visit St. Johns in Pennsylvania for an artisan fair with raffles and an auction to benefit the A-TCP. To learn more about this event, visit our blog post from last month. If you are interested in coming to the festival, no registration is required and we hope to see you there!

This event is in honor of James, a 3-year-old boy with A-T. This is his family’s first event for the A-T Children’s Project and we are so grateful for all their hard work!

This walk takes place annually in Fort Macleod in Alberta, Canada in memory of Randy and in honor of Alex. This event always draws a crowd! It features a 2 or 5 kilometer route as well as a post-walk party. Each walker registers for free, but must raise a minimum of $20 in sponsorships to receive an event t-shirt. Sponsorships don’t have to be from companies, many family members and friends chose to sponsor a walker for the event.

The A-T Walk for a Cure is one of several events that Randy and Alex’s family puts on annually to benefit the A-T Children’s Project – they are unstoppable!

RHETT’S STOMP OUT A-T 5K – june 25

Live near Morgantown, WV? It’s not too late to sign up to walk, roll or run in Rhett’s Stomp Out A-T 5K! The event will also have a kids’ fun run and a virtual auction which you can check out here. You can also participate in the event ~virtually~ and receive an event t-shirt featuring T-Rhett. Rhett’s love of dinosaurs inspired the awesome logo!

Rhett is four years old and was diagnosed with A-T less than a year ago. His family hit the ground running and we know their event is going to have a real impact! Now let’s rock, roll, and STOMP out A-T!

There are so many reasons for HOPE and it is volunteer fundraisers like these who make it all possible. Thank you for all your hard work – it truly makes a difference!
