Here at the A-T Children’s Project, we’re continuously inspired by supporters who take on personal challenges and turn them into powerful opportunities to make a difference for A-T. That’s exactly what Matt Wilks is doing as he prepares to run in this year’s Boston Marathon.

On April 20, Matt will join thousands of runners in one of the world’s most iconic races, the Boston Marathon. But for Matt, this isn’t just about crossing the finish line. It’s about running with a purpose.

Matt qualified and registered for the marathon on his own, a significant accomplishment alone. Now, he’s turning it into something even bigger: fundraising for the A-T Children’s Project.

Matt is a close family friend of The Martin Family and he is running in memory of Andrew Martin, who had A-T. Matt’s race will be an incredible way to honor Andrew while supporting other families impacted by A-T.

Matt has already raised nearly $7,000 and he’s not slowing down. Matt’s journey is a perfect example of how supporters like you can turn their own goals into making a big impact for the A-T community. Whether it’s crossing a marathon finish line, hosting an event, or starting a personal challenge, every effort moves us forward.

Join us in cheering Matt on as he races 26.2 miles on April 20. If you’d like to support his fundraiser, you can do so here: Matt Wilks Boston Marathon Fundraiser

Or, if you’re inspired to start your own fundraiser, we’d love to hear from you at fundraising@atcp.org.

Good luck, Matt!
